Decades of Wisdom Through Today Designing and Trading

from Coded Indicators and Systems in EasyLanguage

While true to this day, “cutting your losses short and letting your profits run”  is a misunderstood trading rule.  Richard Dennis – the famous Turtle Trader – provides a much better understanding.

“You have to minimize your losses and try to preserve capital for those very few instances where you can make a lot in a very short period of time. What you can’t afford to do is throw away your capital on suboptimal trades.” -Richard Dennis

Back in 1996, I set out to develop the technical precondition that finds “optimal trades.” I discovered %C and in 2014 I found the additional element to splice into the code and finished the model with the Technical Event Model in 2015.

Glad you made it,

Jack
